Document Imaging and Retrieval
The document management module is a new and exciting feature
that was added to LeadPerfection at the beginning of 2007. This
module allows you to scan any documents and store them on your
network in conjunction with LeadPerfection so that at any time
you could view the documents right from the Job Detail page.
In order to do this, all you would need is a office copy machine
capable of scanning images to your office network. This is a
feature available to most of the current copy machines on the market
today. In the event that you don't have such a copy machine, you
could purchase a document scanner for a modest price to accomplish
the same task.
When you scan a document to a folder on your network, you would have
previously set up LeadPerfection to read that folder in order to
process the document at "attach" it to a specific Job. To do this,
we click on the Document Management item on the Production menu.
Here we would find all of the documents which have been scanned but
have yet to be attached to jobs. Through 4 simple steps,
LeadPerfection walks you through the process of attaching so that
the document you've scanned matches up with the correct job.
If that's not enough to satisfy you, then you should know that
LeadPerfection Mobile module can access these documents right from
your SmartPhone. So if you get in the habit of taking before and
after photos and attaching them in LeadPerfection, your sales reps
can quickly pull them up to show during appointments with prospective
customers.
